Are you working in the offshore energy and/or maritime manufacturing sector and expanding your business activities in Korea? Then don’t miss out on this online follow-up session about the PIB Korea, jointly organized by Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) and NMT-IRO, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Seoul and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), on March 18, 2025, 09:00 – 10:30 CET | 17:00 – 18:30 KST.
For whom?
This information session is for companies and knowledge institutes with interest in being active on the Korean market for the offshore wind energy sector (bottom-fixed and floating) and/or the maritime manufacturing industry for offshore vessels.
This session is only open to Dutch (affiliated) companies.
What to expect
During this information session we will inform you on:
- Significance of the passing of the Offshore Wind Promotion Act in Korea (Jaehee Park, Country Manager Pondera South Korea);
- Challenges in the South Korean offshore wind supply chain – how can the Netherlands support? (Hans van der Veer BOP, T&I Package Manager ANMA Offshore Wind Project & Maarten Dirkes, Managing Partner Reflow Energy);
- Current status of floating offshore wind in South Korea (Sander van Helvoort, Director Renewable Energy FibreMax); and
- Experience on doing business in offshore wind in South Korea (Teun Verschoor, Owner Verschoor Trading & Sourcing).

This session is a follow-up to the session PIB Korea which was held on February 27, 2025. The aim of these sessions is to share information and gain commitment to establishing a public-private partnership between the Dutch sector associations HHWE and NMT-IRO, and the public RVO, in the framework of a Partners for International Business (PIB). This PIB is aimed at enhancing the visibility and position of participating companies on the Korean market, with focus on offshore wind (bottom-fixed and floating) and maritime manufacturing related to offshore energy.
