EERA DeepWind Conference

The 21st edition of the EERA DeepWind Conference will be held in Trondheim, Norway, from January 17-19, 2024. EERA DeepWind is an international event aiming to present the best ongoing research and innovation related to deep sea offshore wind farms, both bottom-fixed and floating. The conference has been developing every year since 2004, and is established as an important venue on deep sea offshore wind R&D, organized by SINTED, NTNU and EERA JP Wind.
The program includes a mix of plenary presentations with broad appeal and presentations in parallel sessions or by posters on specific science and technology themes.

Call for abstracts
EERA DeepWind is excited to invite you to submit your abstracts for the 2024 edition of the EERA DeepWind Offshore Wind Research and Innovation Conference. Emphasis in the program is on sustainable wind development, digital twin technology, floating wind and large scale integration.
Boost your professional profile and recognition by submitting a paper abstract addressing any of the topics in the program. First authors of abstracts selected for presentation (oral or poster) are granted reduced fee for participation.
The abstract should not exceed 500 words. The topic shall be linked to one of the following:
- New turbine and generator technology;
- Grid connection and power system integration;
- Met-ocean conditions
- Operation and maintenance;
- Installation and substructures;
- Marine operations and logistics;
- Wind farm optimization;
- Experimental testing and validation;
- Wind farm control systems;
- Societal impact and controversies;
- Environmental impact; and/or
- Legal and regulatory framework.
Deadline for abstract submission: October 15, 2023.
