Are you active in the energy, construction, water or agrifood sector? And curious about how you can support the reconstruction of Ukraine? Then consider to participate in the NL Lounge at the ReBuild Ukraine conference on November 13 & 14, 2024. This mission is led by the envoy for reconstruction of Ukraine, Erica Schouten. 

ReBuild Ukraine conference

The conference is organized following successful previous editions in 2023 and 2024. During ReBuild Ukraine you will learn more about planned reconstruction projects in Ukraine. You will also get in touch with important organizations from Ukraine. The conference in Warsaw brings together governments, international financial institutions, businessess and Ukrainian municipalities.

The aim of the conference is to present reconstruction projects and to bring together different parties. You can connect with high level organizations: about 100 Ukrainian municipalities are present at the conference, as well as ministries. The conference will feature international companies from all over the world in the reconstruction projects. Getting in touch with these parties can be interesting for your business.

The conference is supervised by:

• Ministry of Energy;
• Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development;
• the Ukrainian State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development;
• the Polish Ministry of Economic Development and Technology;
• the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine; and
• and central ministries of EU partner countries.

For whom?

Participation is open to Dutch companies, knowledge institutions and other organizations active in:

• Energy (see below);
• Construction;
• Water;
• Agrifood

The conference in November will mainly focus on energy and construction.
Water and agrifood are currently not the ‘focus sectors’ of the conference. Please see here for the conference program.

With regards to the energy sector, participation is interesting for companies active in:

• Solar;
• Wind;
• Hydrogen;
• Biomass;
• Geothermal;
• Energy efficiency; and
• Energy storage.

Why participate?

• you can present yourself to a large Ukrainian and international audience;
• you will get in touch with Ukrainian organizations and companies; and
• you will get in touch with possible international cooperation partners.

NL Lounge

The Netherlands has its own NL Lounge (country pavilion) at the conference. Dutch participants may use the Lounge as a reception and meeting place. The matchmaking sessions will also take place in the NL Lounge.

Draft program

The ReBuild Ukraine conference is on November 13 & 14, 2024, in Warsaw, Poland.

The participants will travel to Warsaw on November 12. The kick-off and networking meeting will take place at the beginning of the evening. Please take that into account when booking your flight. This meeting is co-organized by the Dutch Embassy in Warsaw.

The mission team is still working on the final program. The ReBuild Ukraine Conference is the most important component in the program. The program further consists of:

• kick-off and networking meeting;
• matchmaking;
• conference;
• networking event; and
• information sessions (on specific sectors).

Costs and participation

The participation fee is €500 (excl. VAT) per organization (max. 2 people). For each additional participant the fee is €250 (excl. VAT).

Participation includes:

• participation in, and visibility in the NL Lounge;
• 1 entrance ticket for the conference;
• kick-off reception;
• matchmaking;
• participation in the conference networking event; and
• local support by the organization.

Travel and accommodation costs are at your own expense and risk. After your registration the RVO mission team will send you suggestions for accommodation.

Participation in this mission is only open to Dutch companies and knowledge institutions that fit within the design and substantive focus of this trade mission. Registration and automatic confirmation of receipt therefore does not mean that you will participate. You will receive a final confirmation of participation after the registration has closed.

A maximum number of participants applies to some program components.

Organization

This activity is organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), in close collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry fo Economic Affairs. The Dutch Embassy in Kyiv and the Dutch Embassy in Warsaw are supporting this activity as well.
