In Australia, both the onshore and offshore wind market are experiencing significant growth. Onshore wind projects have expanded due to favourable government policies and increasing investments, leading to a surge in renewable energy capacity.  Meanwhile, the offshore wind sector is gaining momentum, with several large-scale projects in the planning stages, driven by ambitious renewable energy targets of the Australian government.

The government aims to significantly boost onshore wind capacity, targeting around 20GW of installed capacity by 2030. Current projections indicate that onshore wind could account for a substantial portion of Australia’s energy mix, contributing to a renewable energy target of around 50% by 2030.

For offshore wind, Australia is relatively new to the sector. The government has set a target for up to 10GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030 and is planning for around 30GW by 2040. Various projects are in the pipeline, with investments and regulatory frameworks being established to facilitate growth. If you want to be part of this development from the beginning, this is the time to join this event, start your network and familiarize yourself with the Australian market!

Australia Wind Energy 2025

Australia Wind Energy (#AuWE2025) is the country’s largest onshore and offshore wind energy event, where you can meet the entire Australian wind energy value chain. It aims to assist in delivering a new energy economy by facilitating local, national and international cooperation. Held annually in Melbourne, it serves as a critical platform for industry stakeholders to exchange insights, forge valuable connections and close major deals.

In 2024, the event was a great success, with over 1,500 companies and 5,000 attendees converging on the event to network, share insights, and explore the latest industry advancements. Read the post-event report here.

Netherlands Lounge

Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) intends to set up a Netherlands Lounge, in which every participant will get individual exposure. The total floor area of the Lounge will be 36sqm, located at a central spot of the AuWE exhibition floor (see full floorplan here), and can accommodate up to 12 companies.

The following services are – among others – included:

  • Fully equipped joint Netherlands booth;
  • Unlimited exhibitor tickets (delegate passes against additional costs, see below);
  • Own poster desk for each participating company, with space for company brochures;
  • Exposure of company logo and corporate photo within the Lounge design;
  • Shared TV screen for corporate video (max. 1.5 min) OR PowerPoint Presentation (max. 6 slides) in the Lounge;
  • Hosting support on site from HHWE;
  • Support in arranging individual meetings with Australian stakeholders;
  • Hotel and flight recommendation;
  • Participation in the NL – AU side event (TBC);
  • Drinks & snacks in the Lounge; and
  • Joint promotion.

We are offering both participation with and without a so-called delegate pass. The delegate pass includes access to the conference sessions, network lunches, delegate lounge and 1-on-1 meeting rooms, the exhibitor only ticket (included in the standard participation) only includes access to the exhibition floor. If you would like to participate with a delegate pass, please make sure to also select the delegate pass when registering to participate.

If you would like to upgrade your package with a delegate pass, please see the participation fees below.

All prices are without VAT and travel related expenses. To cover part of the fee, SME’s can apply for a SIB Collective Activity Subsidy via RVO, with a max. worth of 80% of the participant fee with a max. of €2.500. Please note that we can’t give any guarantees about the outcome of your SIB application, that’s up to RVO.
Example: if you are participating as HHWE member and are in need of an additional delegate pass (early bird), the total amount will be €2,950 + €850 = €3,800. 80% of €3,800 is €3,040, but the max. amount is €2,500. If your RVO voucher will be granted, you will receive €2,500 from RVO.
