For whom?

This information session is for companies and knowledge institutes with interest to be active on the Korean market for the offshore wind energy sector (bottom-fixed and floating) and/or the maritime manufacturing industry for offshore vessels.

What is the PIB Offshore Energy Korea?

PIB stands for Partners for International Business, and is a public-private partnership between the Dutch sector associations Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE) and NMT-IRO, and the public Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). This PIB is aimed at enhancing the visibility and position of participating companies on the Korean offshore energy market.

HHWE, together with NMT-IRO, will take the lead in building a powerful Dutch offshore energy cluster focused on the offshore energy developments in Korea.
The scope of this PIB is offshore energy, with a focus on offshore wind (bottom-fixed and floating) and maritime manufacturing related to offshore energy.

What to expect

During this information session, Arjen Schutten (HHWE), Maurits van Dijk & Anna Hommel (RVO), and Raphaël Lepot (Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Korea), will inform you on:

• recent developments in the Korean offshore energy market;
• the benefits of joining the PIB;
• the long-term opportunities for doing business in Korea; and
• business experiences in Korea.

The agenda will be shared with the attendees in the coming period.
