For many years now Spain has been a leading wind energy player in Europe. With 30 GW installed as of 2024, Spain is home to Europe’s second largest wind turbine fleet after Germany. The Spanish wind industry also employs 39,000 people, with 250 wind energy manufacturing facilities located across the country – a crucial link in Europe’s homegrown clean energy supply chain.

With such a strong national record, Madrid is the ideal setting to see the success of the wind industry up close at WindEurope’s Annual Event – with 15,000+ attendees expected onsite over the three days!
