The 23nd WINDFORCE 2025 Wind and Hydrogen conference will be held in Bremerhaven, Germany, from June 16 – 18, 2025. The WINDFORCE conference has become the central meeting place for renewables in Germany during its 18-year history.

About WINDFORCE

The wind and maritime industry, are the base of the renewables according to the realization agreement of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). 30GW of wind energy should be connected to the grid in German waters by 2030 and at least 4GW of green hydrogen are to be produced in the North and Baltic Seas.

Over 300 national and international experts, are expected to attend this international industry class reunion. The conference consists of a central panel discussion, over 50 specialist presentations, keynote speeches, dinner speeches and start-up presentations. In total, conference participants can look forward to around 70 speakers sharing and contributing their expertise. It is important to use joint strengths and leverage synergies!

With the further development of the wind industry, combined with the maritime industry and the hydrogen economy, there are major challenges that can only be solved together. These will be the topics that you can expect: How do we achieve 30 gigawatts by 2030 in Germany and 300 gigawatts in the EU together and in international cooperation? Grid development and the electricity market are important prerequisites and therefore one of the main topics. The development of port infrastructure is essential for wind and is therefore a prominent topic. What support measures can companies take advantage of for further development? An outlook on other European markets provides insights into the basics, objectives and remuneration models. Current expert information on the state of climate development conveys the urgent need for the consistent expansion of renewable energies. The implementation and development of hydrogen projects pose major challenges and will therefore also be a topic. Service & operation is becoming increasingly important. Windforce is therefore inviting experts who operate offshore to share their experiences.

Call for Abstracts

WINDFORCE is currently seeking content for sessions covering a range of topics in the wind & hydrogen sector. Individuals with original and relevant ideas are encouraged to submit an abstract of up to 750 words at the WINDFORCE platform. Deadline: February 28, 2025

Netherlands Participation

Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE), in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO) in Hamburg, is organizing a Dutch delegation visit with a Netherlands pop-up booth.

Participation with the Netherlands delegation includes a.o.: 

• WINDFORCE entrance ticket (worth €1.500);
• Your company logo and brochure in the shared NL pop-up booth;
• Shared TV for corporate video (max. 1,5 min) OR PowerPoint presentation (max. 6 slides);
• Access to the full WindForce Conference program;

Participation costs

HHWE members:             €875,00 per person
Non members:                 €925,00 per person

All prices exclude VAT and travel related expenses. The price includes all services as described above. To cover part of the fee, SME’s can apply for a SIB Collective Activity Subsidy via RVO, with a maximum worth of 80% of the participant fee (max. €2.500). RVO is responsible for granting the subsidy, HHWE cannot give any guarantees.
